* Please note: Both projects («Bye-Bye Beethoven» and «Kreutzer-Sonaten») are considered as one project. The «Kreutzer-Sonaten» program will be combined with the «Bye-Bye Beethoven» strings.

Maurico Kagel Staatstheater
Scenic composition for singers, actors, dancers and instrumentalists

Cast size:
2 percussionists for the part «season» in the theatre (together with singers from the ensemble of hte Lucerne Theater)

4 percussionists and 4 other instrumentalists* for the part «Repertoire» in 4 containers with live broadcast to the theatre (2 instrumentalists per container)

* The "other" instrumentalists should include musicians who are willing to participate in scenic actions throughout the Kagel. You will also be expected to play rules, which are related to percussion instruments, however we might also be able combine it with your main instrument, however this cannot be guaranteed. 

Total Size Alumni-Ensemble: 6 Perc – 4 other instrumentalists

Audition
The coaches of the Academy, Lucerne Festival and Lucerne Theater (for Kagel) will decide on the active participation upon receiving the registration forms and recordings.
The results of the selections will be announced at the begin of April 2021.

Fee

Travel
LUCERNE FESTIVAL will cover the travel expenses of each active participant.

Accommodation
LUCERNE FESTIVAL will arrange and cover the cost of accommodation of each active participant.
For «Bye-Bye Beethoven» and «Kreutzer-Sonaten» we will provide hotel rooms, for the Kagel-Production we will provide local host families for each active participant.
