The Lucerne Festival Forward is a new annual festival devoted to the sounds and ideas of our time, offering a platform for contemporary music and giving a voice to musicians of the young generation. Curated and performed by fellow members of the Lucerne Festival Academy Network, the program encourages contact with listeners, experiments with unusual concert formats, focuses on lesser-known voices and aesthetic positions on the creation of contemporary music, and purposely mixes nationalities, generations, and genders.
